Carey Elmring
Carey has loved horses since before they could remember. They have spent fifteen years loving and learning from horses. They began their journey in archery and riding at the same time, but didn't combine the two into Mounted Archery until 2017. Carey has had the privilege to learn from many prestigious archers and equestrians including Olympians and multiple-time world champions. Carey enjoys working in a variety of disciplines including dressage, jumpers, mounted archery, ranch riding and loves riding out in the open and on trails. One of their favorite sayings is "The world is your arena!" Carey spends their time teaching, riding, practicing archery, training service dogs and training horses, including gentling mustangs. Carey is a Certified Level 2 Coach with USA Archery and a Certified Instructor Trainer, a Certified Judge with the International Horseback Archery Alliance, and has received training through the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship as an Equine Specialist. They are also in the process of receiving their Certification as a Level 3 National Training System Coach.

Koby Dundon
Koby has been learning under Carey for two years. He is passionate about archery and horses and works every day to become a better horseman. He began his archery journey in 2019 with traditional archery that became horse bow style. Koby works with our beginner students helping them to build a solid and safe foundation. Koby practices mounted archery, dressage and rides out on the trails and open spaces. Koby is currently in an equine training internship and has retrained his horse Horchata, who is also one of our teachers in the lesson program. Koby's goal is to help everyone learn so we can take over the world with horse archery. Koby is a very fun, and safety focused instructor.
